Movies

incurred
incredulously
huge
profits
with
Arundathi
and
Hollywood

2009.
And
this
year,
he
has
acquired
the

for
the
most
expected
Hollywood
film
M.Night
Shyamalan"s
The
Last
Airbender.
Shyamalan
has
made
this
film
following
the
grand
success
of
The
Happening.
The
film,
which
has
fetched
mixed
reviews
in
USA,
will
be
hitting
screens
the
in
India
on
July
9.
It"s
worth
mentioning
that
the
flop
shows
in
Hollywood
have
done
remarkable
business
in
India,
especially
in
Tamil
Nadu.
Say
for
instance,
Van
Helsing
and
2012
were
utter
flops
in
US
but
fetched
good
results
here.
Apart
from
this
film,
Ramanarayanan
has
acquired
the
rights
for
Tamil
version
of
Inception.
This
film
is
directed
by
Christopher
Nolan
of
Mementoes
fame
(remade
in
Tamil
as
Ghajini)
and
features
Leonardo
DiCaprio
in
lead
role.
A.R.
Murugadoss
upcoming
film
7
Aum
Arivu
is
said
to
be
inspired
from
Inception.
