Rettaisuzhi to be released in May

One thing that makes director Shankar special as a producer is his ability to churn out quality films. Glimpse through his previous productions and you"ll get the best illustrations. His maiden production Kadhal was a fantabulous romantic story while Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi was a hilarious take on King Pulikesi. His other production Arai En 305il Kadavul had a wonderful message for the universal audiences and his recent release Eeram was an extraordinary supernatural thriller with unexpected twists and turns.

The filmmaker is now getting for the release of his next project titled Rettaisuzhi that features maverick moviemakers – K. Balachandar and Bharathiraja in lead roles. The film"s audio was recently launched by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and is now getting ready for release in May. Although, the film"s shooting was completed before a very long time, director Shankar wanted to release the film in April-May as the summer vacations would attract more audiences for this film. The film is directed by debutant Thamira and is produced by director Shankar under the banner of S Pictures.
