South Indian superstars Surya and Vijay shared the dais with
honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Kalainyar Karunanidhi at
Vamsam audio release function. The audio launch was held
last Friday at Sathyam Cinemas and the entire premises was under
tight security. Tamil Film Producers Council President Rama
Narayanan and other executive members were also present.
Directed by Pandiraj of Pasanga fame, the film marks the debut
of CM Karunanidhi"s grandson Arulnidhi with Sunaina of Kadhalil
Vizhunthen fame starring opposite him. Taj Noor, once an
associate of A.R. Rahman has scored the music.
Conveying his best wishes to grandson Arulnidhi, the CM said, “I
believe that Arulnidhi will succeed just like Surya and Vijay.
These superstars were born into a family with strong film
background, but never expected their support and came up succeeding
by virtue of their own effort and hard work."
Singing praises of Arulnidhi, director Pandiraj said that, he
never really believed that he wouldn"t suit the role as he looks
like a typical city boy. “But I was surprised to see his excellent
performance and dedication. He has really done a marvelous job in
this film as a village youngster" says the filmmaker.
