Ajith Kumar turning 20 for Billa prequel

Ajith Kumar will have a contrasting look in Billa 2 to his upcoming film Mangaatha. The actor, who will be seen in a salt and pepper look in Venkat Prabhu directorial film, will be doing the role of a 20-year-old in the movie, which is directed by Chakri Toleti.

The actor is very particular about his look and has planned to rope in a Hollywood make-up man. The prequel will see the past of David Billa, a dreaded don in the first instalment of the film. So, his character has to look younger and energetic, as it narrates his journey from being an ordinary person to the undisputed underworld king.

Ajith Kumar has also hit the gym to reduce his weight. He is working hard to fit the character and is taking the right kind of diet and nutrition, says a source. Meanwhile, Chakri Toleti has finished the script work. It is expected to take-off soon.

Mumbai-based model Huma Qureshi, Bruna Abdullah, Shivaji Prabhu, Rahman, Krishnakumar are also in the cast. Suresh Balaje and George Pius are jointly producing the film.
