Well, here is a girl, who has surprised many by turning down the
maverick filmmaker's offer. It is none other than Bollywood diva
Anushka Sharma was recently approached by Mani Ratnam for one of
the female lead roles in his upcoming Tamil film Ponniyin
Selvan. But the actress refused to act in the film, as she is
not interested to play the second leading lady in the film. It is
said that Mani Ratnam offered her to pair Mahesh Babu in the

female lead is on. The director is keen to cast Priyanka Chopra in
