UTV Motion Pictures and Salman Khan's Chillar Party is the new movie, which has attracted the South Indian filmmakers. The film, which has received good responses from the audience and critics, is all set to be remade in Tamil and Telugu.

Madhu Mantena of Big Bang Media Pvt. Ltd has approached UTV Motion Pictures for the remake rights of the film. Director Vikas Bahl confirms that the movie is attracting regional filmmakers and Mantena is the front runner to bag the Tamil and Telugu rights.

On the other end, Madhu Mantena claims that the deal is yet to be sealed and the talks are in early stages. Chillar Party is about eight kids, who stand up to a mighty politician and their mission is to save a dog that belongs to a child in their group.

However, in the recent times, some of the top producers from the Tamil film industry were keen to remake Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly. They had also approached for the remake rights of the film but none of them bagged the rights for reasons best known to them.
