Dhanush signs Chimbudevan’s fantasy project

Dhanush, who is known for doing experimental roles, has signed Chimbudevan's next fantasy project. The director, who has given some entertaining films like Irumbukottai Murattu Singam and Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi, is reportedly making the film in same genre.

As per a source close to the director, the movie is based on contemporary times and he is busy giving final touches to the script. Dhanush has liked the the story and has agreed to do the film immediately, adds source. Other details about the film are under wraps.

So, the actor is now managing his career by balancing with the films with Box office successes and that with critical acclaims. Following the commercial success of art house project Aadukalam, the actor has now shifted his attention to an entertainer like Vengai directed by Hari.
