Dharani confirms offering 'Munni' to Nayantara

Nayantara's name has emerged again for the much-talked Tamil version of 'Munni badnaam hui'. This time, this is not merely a speculation but a valid news. It has come straight from the horse's mouth that the actress has been approached for the item number in Osthi, which is a remake of Dabangg.

Director Dharani has confirmed that he has offered the item song to Nayantara. The talks are on and the makers of the film are keen to rope in her for the special track. The actress is yet to give a green signal, says the filmmaker. He further claims that they also have offered it to other actresses as well.

Earlier, it was reported that Silambarasan had offered the special song to Nayantara. However, the actor later denied rumours and claimed that he did not approach her.

Meanwhile, top Bollywood actresses are also in the race to shake their legs for the item number. Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu's names are doing rounds.
