up
on
Vinnaithaandi
Varuvaayaa
2
(VTV)
to
clarify
the
rumours
pertaining
to
its
sequel.
The
director
has
said
that
nothing
has
been
confirmed
yet.
Recently,
a
few
websites
claimed
that
Gautham
Menon
has
planned
a
sequel
for
his
2010
blockbuster
VTV
and
has
approached
Silambarasan
to
star
in
the
second
instalment
of
the
film
as
well.
Reacting
to
those
reports,
the
filmmaker
stated
that
he
is
planning
for
it
but
nothing
has
been
finalized
yet.
He
further
added
that
the
reports
on
VTV
2
commencing
in
June
2012
and
Madrasapattinam
actress
Amy
Jackson
being
roped
in
are
false.
However,
Gautham
Menon
admitted
that
he
is
in
talks
with
Silambarasan
for
a
project,
which
is
expected
to
take-off
in
2012.
The
director
also
agreed
that
they
discussed
about
the
sequel
but
they
are
yet
to
decided
on
it.
He
finally
concluded
that
he
loves
to
work
with
Simbu
again.
