Kamal Hassan to launch Moser Baer’s book on Kollywood

Veteran superstar Kamal Hassan will unveil a book titled 'The Best of Tamil Cinema: 1931 to 2010" on March 2 in Chennai. The book has been penned by G. Dhananjayan, COO of Moser Baer Entertainment.

The book is going to be a treat for the fans of Tamil cinema. The much awaited book will come with synopsis, trivia and some rare photographs. It is a two volume book with content of 600+ pages. It will come with minute details of blockbuster movies of Kollywood from 1931 to 2010. Starting from 1931"s Kalidas, it will discuss the 2010 movie Nandhalala.

Those interested in this interesting reading, can buy this book from all the leading book stores throughout India. It will come with a price tag of Rs 2,999. The same can be availed for online reading at US $49.99 on Kindle, Kobo and iBooks. The veteran actor will launch the book in presence of K Balachander, Cheran, Balu Mahendra, Mysskin and Mahendran. The first volume of the book will cover the era from 1931 to 1976 and the cinemas of 1977 to 2010 will be covered in the second volume. It takes dig of 1000 Tamil films till date.
