KV Anand's Ko falls into Prakash Jha's lap

Yet another South movie is ready for exporting! The superhit movie Ko is all set to be remade in the Hindi and acclaimed director Prakash Jha of Raajneeti fame is helming the project.

Earlier, it was reported that KV Anand would make his Bollywood debut with the Hindi version of Ko. However, now it has been revealed that the production house, which acquired that remake rights, have signed Prakash Jha to direct the forthcoming Bollywood movie.

It is said that the makers of the upcoming Hindi movie believed that Prakash Jha can handle the political-thriller subject with ease, as he has seen success in this genre before. It may be recalled that the filmmaker directed Raajneeti and Aarakshan, which had a political backdrop, in the recent past.

The original version, Ko starred Jeeva, Karthika, Piaa Bajpai and Ajmal Ameer in the leads. The cast for the Hindi version are yet to be finalised.
