Director
Lingusamy
is
gearing
up
for
his
debut
Bollywood
movie.
The
filmmaker
seems
to
have
decided
to
relaunch
Surya
in
his
first
Hindi
film,
which
is
said
to
be
a
remake
of
his
blockbuster
Paiya.
Reports
say
that
Lingusamy's
debut
movie
will
be
produced
by
UTV
Motion
Pictures
with
whom
he
has
signed
a
three-film
deal.
The
filmmaker
is
all
set
to
remake
his
Paiya
in
Bollywood
and
he
is
keen
to
cast
Surya
in
the
proposed
project.
It
is
interesting
to
note
that
the
Tamil
movie
starred
the
Ghajini
star's
brother
Karthi
in
the
lead
role.
Meanwhile,
the
filmmaker
has
denied
the
rumours
on
Surya's
relaunch
but
admits
that
he
is
directing
the
Hindi
version
of
Paiya.
The
casting
process
is
yet
to
be
started
and
the
production
house
will
take
care
of
the
actors,
says
Lingusamy.
He
is
currently
busy
with
his
next
movie
Vettai,
which
stars
Madhavan
and
Aarya
in
the
leads.
Surya,
who
made
his
Bollywood
debut
with
Ram
Gopal
Varma's
Rakta
Charitra,
received
rave
reviews
for
his
mind-blowing
performance
in
the
Hindi
film.
However,
he
did
not
sign
any
project
due
to
his
commitments
with
his
Tamil
projects.
