After Madhuri Dixit, Rajinikanth turns to Rekha

After Madhuri Dixit opted out of Rajinikanth's trilingual movie Rana, the makers of the film have approached actress Rekha to cast her in superstar Rajinikanth starrer film. But the actress is yet to give the green signal to act in the film.

According to reports, Rekha has been offered to play the role of Rajinikanth's sister in the film. The makers of the film thinks that the actress will be a right choice, as she is fluent in Tamil and Hindi. It may be recalled that Rekha-Rajini worked in Phool Bane Angaarey in 1991 and Bulandi in 2000.

The historical Tamil movie Rana is directed by KS Ravi Kumar, which stars Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone and Sonu Sood in the key roles. The movie is jointly produced by Eros International and Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Studios Private Limited. The movie will hit the floors in April.
