Mani Ratnam-PC Sreeram joining hands again

Grapevine is abuzz with the news that Mani Ratnam has approached ace cinematographer PC Sreeram to handle the camera for his upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan(PS). The news comes after the director was spotted with the cinematographer at the latter's office.

According to reports, Mani Ratnam has met PC Sreeam recently and discussed about the project. The director was happy after he came to know that the cameraman has ready 'Ponniyin Selvan' more than five times.

It may be recalled that they have worked together in many superhit movies like Nayagan (1987), Mouna Raagam (1986), Thiruda Thiruda (1993), Thevar Magan (1992), Alaipayuthey (2000), etc.

The pre-production works of the film are in brisk progress. Along with Mani Ratnam, Vasanth of Saththam Podathey fame is penning the script. The expected-budget of the movie is said to be Rs. 200 crores, which is produced by the Sun Pictures .
