Niveditha defends kissing scene in Markandeyan!

Niveditha, who dared to do a kissing scene in Markandeyan, is not bothered about criticism being made at her for doing bold act. Indeed, the actress defends her smooch scene with actor Sabarish by saying that the script demanded it.

The dusky actress feels that the underwater lip-lock with Sabarish in Markandeyan was a crucial part of the story. The lead actors, who were chased by goons, jump into the water to save their lives but Niveditha's inability to swim almost costs her life.
