Silambarasan's
forthcoming
movie
Osthi
is
in
troubled
waters
again.
The
movie,
which
is
hitting
the
screens
on
December
8,
is
facing
a
threat
from
the
Tamil
Nadu
Film
Exhibitors
Association
(TNFEA).
Sources
say
that
the
TNFEA
has
threatened
to
boycott
Osthi
if
the
media
partner
of
the
Tamil
film,
Sun
Pictures,
failed
to
clear
the
dues
of
its
earlier
films
to
the
association.
The
exhibitors
have
decided
not
to
release
any
film
that
is
associated
with
Sun
Pictures.
Be
it
a
Sun
Pictures
distributed
film
or
the
satellite-rights
acquired
flick,
the
TNFEA
has
decided
to
boycott
all
its
movies
until
it
clears
their
dues.
Meanwhile,
the
makers
of
Osthi
have
written
to
Sun
Pictures
to
clear
the
issue
within
next
48
hours
else
they
would
cut
the
ties
with
the
channel.
Osthi
is
a
remake
of
Bollywood
blockbuster
Dabangg,
which
starred
Salman
Khan
in
the
lead.
In
the
Tamil
version,
Simbu,
Richa
Gangopadhyay,
Revathi
and
others
are
in
the
cast.
