Recently, a Chennai based businessman approached the Madras High Court seeking to halt the movie from hitting the screens in Tamil Nadu. He claimed that the actor is yet to clear his dues from his earlier film Abhiyum Naanum. However, the court asked the actor to pay 50 lakh as a security deposit for which he offered his property, which is now owned by Lalitha Kumari.
The movie is releasing today without any hurdles. It is hitting the screens in more than 165 screens in Tamil Nadu alone.
