Rajinikanth fans want his birthday to be World Style Day!

The superstar of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth is turning 62 today (December 12). Fans across the globe are celebrating the day by doing charity and performing poojas for the Tamil actor's long life.

On the occasion of his birthday, his fans are up with quite a few demands to honour Rajinikanth. While the superstar's online fans want his birthday to be declared as the World Style Day and wants Rajini's wax stature at Madame Tussauds, a section of people in the Kollywood has sent a request letter to the government to bestow him with the Padma Vibhushan Award.

Rajinikanth, whose original name is Shivaji Rao Gaikwad, worked as a bus conductor in Bengaluru before he rose to stardom as the Style King of South India. Billa, Moondru Mugum, Thalapathi, Baasha are the few blockbusters to name in his credits.
