Superstar Rajinikanth could not celebrate the victory of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the recent state elections, as he has been undergoing treatment for bad health since April. So, he apparently congratulated her on the victory soon after he was discharged from Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
The Superstar called CM Jayalalithaa from Singapore and congratulated her on the great victory. He also told her that his health has progressed and would return to India soon.
Actor Dhanush, son-in-law of the Superstar expressed happiness on his discharge on a micro-blogging site. “Superstar discharged from hospital. He has recovered completely and taking rest. Soon national award celebrations :) god bless," he tweeted.
Rajinikanth was taken ill in April when the shooting of Rana had just begun and has been undergoing medical treatment since then. He was treated at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore and has been discharged after recovering completely. He is expected to stay in the country for a while for re-check ups and return home soon for the shooting of his latest film Rana, directed by KS Ravikumar.
