Rajinikanth wants to kill his character

By Raymond Ronamai

Superstar Rajinikanth fans would not want to see any tragic sequence in their favourite actor"s films, but the actor is adamant that the director go with the original script and kill one of his characters in his much-hyped film Rana. He has apparently told director KS Ravi Kumar not to change the script of the film.

According to the script of the film, one of the three characters of the Superstar has to be killed but the director apparently wants to keep all the three characters alive. On learning the intention of the director, Rajinikanth has reportedly told him not to change the script even a bit.

The Superstar also has clearly told the makers of the film that he would perform all the deathly stunts himself instead of using a body double. So, they have to wait for the actor to recover from his illness completely so that he could perform the stunts without affecting his health. The shooting of the film is now expected to resume in September.

Rajinikanth was taken ill in April when the shooting of Rana had just begun and has been undergoing medical treatment since then. He is currently being treated at a hospital in Singapore. Let"s hope the Superstar gets well soon and resume the shooting of Rana!
