Rajinikanth recovering well, shifted to normal ward

Rajinikanth's family and fans can breathe a sigh of relief now, as the superstar is responding well to the treatment at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre. The actor has been shifted to the normal ward yesterday and his condition is stable.

Rajini's son-in-law and actor Dhanush confirmed the news and shared his excitement with his fans on Twitter. “Heyyyyyy guyssssss,Superstar is shifted from ICU to normal room :) :) :) :) now beat this news ! All rumor spreaders can go 2 hell.god bless", he wrote.

He added, “Happiest day of my life !! Yayyyyyyyyyy :) nyone has any doubts u r free 2 investigate SRMC hosp. COME ON ( war cry )."

Rajinikanth, who is undergoing treatment at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre for recurrent respiratory infection and gastrointestinal problems, was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) last Wednesday and put on dialysis, as his kidneys were not functioning normally.

However, the hospital sources say that the superstar is on normal diet and he is cheerful. The actor also enjoyed watching a recent IPL match, concludes a source.
