delayed,
as
the
superstar

not
fully
recovered
yet.

Ravikumar

clarified
that
Rana
has
not
been
shelved.
He
says
that
the
multilingual
movie
has
been
pushed
to
January
2012.
The
filmmaker
claims
that
Rajinikanth
needs
to
be
100%
fit,
as
the
roles
he
is
doing
in
the
movie
is
physically
demanding.
Rajinikanth
will
be
doing
three
roles
in
the
historical
flick.
The
actor
has
to
ride
horses
and
he
has
to
wear
costumes,
which
approximately
weighs
25
kilos,
says
KS
Ravikumar.
Though,
the
superstar
is
willing
to
star,
the
director
is
not
keen
to
take
risks,
he
adds.
He
assures
that
the
makers
of
the
film
will
announce
the
shooting
date
in
December.
Meanwhile,
Rajinikanth
has
taken
part
in
the
shooting
of
Shahrukh
Khan's
multilingual
movie
Ra.One.
His
portions
were
shot
yesterday
in
Mumbai.
Rana
is
a
historical
movie,
which
is
jointly
produced
by
Soundarya
Rajinikanth
and
Eros
International.
Oscar
Award
winner
AR
Rahman
will
score
the
music
for
the
film
and
Rathnavelu
will
handle
the
camera.
The
movie
also
features
Ileana
D'Cruz
in
the
key
role.
