Rajinikanth's family threatened by film financer?

In a recent incident, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's wife Latha and daughter Soundarya sent a film financer behind the bars since he was charged of threatening their family. Latha and Soundarya filed a case against Sushil Gupta in the Madras court. The financer was also arrested for the same.

Gupta had helped Rajinikanth's family monetarily for an educational trust, a source informed Mumbai Mirror. But, when the financer went to Chennai to claim his money back, he was held for interrogations. "He was in the local jail for an entire day," added the source.

Mumbai Mirror's source revealed that Sushil had given Rs 2.57 crore to Latha. When asked Sushil about the entire matter, he claimed that all the allegations against him of threatening Rajinikanth's family was false. It was further reported that Sushil's manager had simply called on his behalf to ask for the money.
