Sameera Reddy gives IPL inaugural ceremony a miss

Chennai is all set for Indian Premier League (IPL) inaugural ceremony on Friday. Bollywood big names are expected to attend the event. Performing at the starry evening, when the whole world is watching, would be a lifetime opportunity for many, as they could get good recognition. But sadly, Sameera Reddy has missed the golden chance to perform due to her busy shooting schedules.

Sources say that Sameera Reddy, who has become more popular in Tamil film industry than Bollywood, has turned down the offer to dance at the IPL inaugural ceremony. The actress is currently busy with Prabhu Deva directorial film, which features Vishal Krishna in the lead.

They are filming in the outskirts of Chennai and she is not keen to give the shooting a miss, says a source. Meanwhile, Sameera Reddy has explained the same to the IPL organizers. However, the actress will reportedly cheer for the Chennai Super Kings.
