Sameera Reddy steps into the shoes of Sonakshi Sinha

Guessing games for the female lead role in Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroobham continues, as Sameera Reddy's name has surfaced to act in the upcoming Tamil film. The actress is being considered to fill the shoes of Sonakshi Sinha to pair Kamal Hassan.

Reports say that Sameera Reddy has been approached to act in the prestigious project. The actress, who is in abroad for shooting of her upcoming Tamil film, is yet to discuss about the movie with the makers of the film. It also adds that Kamal Hassan wants to cast her in Vishwaroobham for the main female lead, which is vacant after Sonkashi Sinha left citing dating issues.

Of late, many names have emerged for the leading lady role in Vishwaroobham. First it was said that Deepika Padukone was offered but she refused it, as she was busy wither other projects. Then, Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor, Priya Anand's names were also doing rounds but Kamal Hassan refused all those speculations recently.

Meanwhile, Isha Sharwani has been signed to play one of the key roles but she is not doing the role, which was offered to Sonakshi Sinha. The movie directed by Kamal Hassan has been delayed ever since director Selvaraghavan walked out of the project. Now, the actor himself has taken responsibility of penning the script and directing the film.
