Court
for
its
release.

against
the
film
at
the
High
Court
seeking
to
stop
the
movie
release,
as
the
film
is
related
to
politics.
A
Chennai
based
lawyer
had
filed
a
petition
claiming
that
Sattapadi
Kuttram
revolves
around
the
current
politics
of
the
state.
The
movie
has
some
objectionable
scenes
and
dialogues,
which
hits
out
at
a
particular
party.
With
the
general
assembly
polls
is
around
the
corner,
it
violates
the
model
code
of
conduct
and
it
will
have
a
direct
bearing
on
the
voters.
Hence,
the
movie
should
be
stopped
from
its
release.
However,
the
court
has
adjourned
the
hearing
to
March
29.
Sattappadi
Kuttram
is
a
remake
of
blockbuster
Sattam
Oru
Iruttarai,
which
was
directed
by
SA
Chandrasekhar
himself.
