The actor claims that the reports are baseless, as the music director is yet to compose the song. The makers of the film are yet to plan the song and approaching any actress is still far away. It is only after the song composition, they can rope in the actress, Silambarasan concludes.
Recently, there were reports that Simbu, who is actively involved in the casting, reportedly told director Dharani that Nayantara would fit the bill for the item song, which was done by Mallika Arora in Dabangg. The actor and the director later offered the special number for the 26-year-old. But the actress turned down their offer citing her marriage.
Silamabarasan has cleared the speculations, which claimed that the actor approached Nayantara for an item number in his upcoming film Osthi. The Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa star said that he never offered her the song nor any other actress.
