Silambarasan and national award winner Vetrimaran, who have tasted
success with their respective films Vaanam and
Aadukalam in 2011, are teaming up for Vada
Chennai. The filmmaker has reportedly approached the actor for
the upcoming Tamil film.
Sources say that Vetrimaran is keen to cast Silambarasan in the
lead role. It also adds that the filmmaker has two other actors in
mind, if Simbu turns down the offer. However, the filmmaker refused
to comment on the rumours of him offering a role for the
Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa star. But he claimed that he is
yet to finish the script.
He further adds that he is planning to approach a big star for
the cameo in forthcoming film Vada Chennai. The movie is
produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri on the banner Cloud Nine Movies.
