Sona sexually abused by SPB Charan

Actress Sona Heiden has alleged that SPB Charan, the son of legendary singer SP Balasubramanyam, has misbehaved with her at recently held Mankatha success bash. The frustrated actress claims that the producer-singer sexually harassed her by making obscene advances.

Sona said, “Venkat Prabhu and Premji are my best friends in the Tamil film industry and you will often find me in their gang. In fact, I am the only girl in their group. Like usual, I was invited for a party, which was the bash to celebrate the success of Mankatha held at actor Vaibhav's house. There were six members out of which I knew only two."

“SPB Charan, who had abused me several times before did the same again yesterday. While I was standing alone, he came to me and daringly asked me to sleep with him before touching my private parts. Sensing he was inebriated, I pushed him back and shouted at him. Soon Premji entered the scene and SPB asked sorry for his misbehaviour," she claims.

The actress further adds, “Later, once again he started talking rubbish and asked me what's my rate. His argument was when actresses could shed their clothes on-screen, why couldn't they do the same in reality? And he went on asking me that he was willing to pay any amount if she was ready to sleep with him. Venkat Prabhu sensed that I was in danger and rushed to where I was standing. The Mankatha director dragged him and fought with the singer. He told him to leave the place and everybody supported me."

“I have health issues, heart problems and I am going through depression. I am supposed to be calm. But this incident has hurt me a lot. Now, I want justice and I am planning to lodge a complaint against him. And also I am giving SPB Charan 10 days time to ask me apology in public. I am not going to let him go easily."
