Sonam Kapoor clarifies on her entry to regional films

Sonam Kapoor has clarified the rumours pertaining to her entry to the Tamil film industry. The actress, who was rumoured to have approached for Vijay's next film, has claimed that she loves to work with him but she has not been offered any role in the project.

Soon after the reports started doing rounds on her possible regional film entry, fans of the actress bombarded her with questions related to the film on social networking site Twitter. Clearing the rumours, she posted, “Dudes and duddettes.. Have not been offered any film in Kollywood. I would love to work with the above mentioned stalwarts but I ain't so lucky!"

Reports claimed that Sonam Kapoor like her counterparts Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha wants to make her debut in the Tamil film industry opposite a big star. The actress has been waiting for an opportunity and when AR Murugadoss approached her, the actress gave her consent to pair Vijay in the film without any hesitation.

There were also reports that Sonam Kapoor has replaced Sonakshi Sinha, as the latter has walked out of Kamal Hassan's upcoming multilingual film Vishwaroobham.
