Trisha's mom gushes on her debut ad

Having played the role of a guide to Trisha Krishnan in shaping her career, the actress' mom Uma Krishnan finally tasted what the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa actress has been going through all these years. Well, she along with her sassy daughter shared the screen space and experienced the joy of facing camera for the first time.

Sharing her experience, Uma Krishnan, who featured in basumathi ad, describes her first attempt as a fun. She was in awkward position before facing the shot but director AL Vijay made her comfortable and shot the ad with ease. The mother of the 28 year old actress believes that the ad has come out well through the team work and they has dubbed their own voice.

Director Vijay has said that he shared good rapport with Trisha, as he worked with her in Kireedam. When, the client approached him to shoot the ad, the director asked the actress whether she along with mother could feature in the commercial. Indeed, they liked the idea and gave the nod. Last week, he has shot the advertisement in Chennai.

However, he has also shot the same ad for the Hindi version, which features Sharmila Tagore and her daughter Soha Ali Khan.
