Vidya Balan was Kamal's first choice for Vishwaroobham

The latest news about the movie Vishwaroobham is that actress Vidya Balan was the first choice of Kamal Hassan for the film. Sources claim that the actor-cum-director had approached the Bollywood actress for the female in his trilingual movie, but she rejected his offer quoting her busy schedule.

It is reported that Kamal Hassan wanted Vidya Ballan to give dates for his movie Vishwaroobham from August. But she had already committed to do two films like The Dirty Picture and Kahaani. She had to complete and promote them before the end of 2011. Although she was very keen to act opposite Kamal, the over-committed star rejected his offer.

Meanwhile, actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is roped in to play the heroine in the film, is said to be upset with the movie bosses because Vishwaroobham was to start its shooting in the first week of June but due to the differences between the director Selvaraghavan the filming has been postponed to August. Now, it should be seen whether Sonakshi will stay on board as committed.
