Vijay's charbuster song 'Appidu podu...' from Gilli, which drew the national attention a few years ago, is going to Bollywood. The popular song is now being retuned for a forthcoming Hindi film, which is produced by actor Sonu Sood.

Sources say that Sonu Sonu, who danced for 'Kalasala...' with Silambarasan and Mallika Sherawat in Osthi, has acquired the rights of the song. He has assigned the original composer, Vidya Sagar to retune the number to suit the taste of the Bollywood audience.

Sonu Sood has confirmed the news and has said that the song has impressed him. Talking about roping in Mallika Sherawat for the song, the popular on-screen baddie claims that their chemistry worked well in 'Kalasala', which made him to rope her in for the number.

The original song was sung by Krishna Kumar Kunnath and Anuradha Sriram and the Hindi version would be crooned by Mika and Sunidhi Chauhan. Vidya Sagar has already started reworking on the song and he is reportedly retaining some parts of 'Appidu podu...'.
