Vijay's
Kaavalan
have
agreed
to
release
the
film
on
January
15th.
Financial
disputes
between
the
movie
makers-distributors
have
postponed
the
movie
by
a
day.
Earlier,
the
film
was
scheduled
for
January
14,
Friday
along
with
other
Pongal
biggies
Aadukalam,
Ilaignan
and
Siruthai.
Taking
this
as
his
prestige
issue,
Vijay
got
directly
involved
and
came
forward
to
release
the
film
on
his
own.
According
to
sources,
the
actor
has
settled
the
accounts
of
Shakthi
Chidambaram
and
others
and
now
releasing
the
film
with
the
help
of
Aascar
Ravichandran
on
January
15th
allover
Tamil
Nadu.
Meanwhile,
the
Madras
High
court
also
cleared
the
decks
against
the
film's
release.
In
a
Judgment
on
the
case
against
the
film,
Justice
Rama
Subramaniyam
ordered
the
producer
of
the
film
C
Romesh
Babu
to
deposit
Rs
15
cr
as
safety
deposit
in
the
court
to
release
the
film.
The
advance
booking
of
the
movie
will
start
tomorrow,
confirms
a
source.
