Vijay was not happy with his fans during the audio launch function of Velayudham. The actor was angry after he was depicted like god in some posters in Madurai by his followers.

Sources say that Vijay was upset, when he saw some posters of him being portrayed like god. Soon, he told his fans to remove it and said that he does not want to be showcased like the almighty. The Gilli actor reportedly claimed that god and man are different and one should not compare human with the lord.

The 37-year-old further claims that some miscreants tried to utilise this opportunity to defame him and stir a controversy. Vijay concludes that he never differentiates people on their caste, creed or their social status. He has fan followers from each and every community and he believes in one religion, i.e., Tamil religion.
