Vikram follows Surya's footsteps

Pithamagan stars Vikram and Surya are known for playing different kinds of role, costumes, getups etc. Their experiments have often resulted in success. Now, the former is following the latter's footsteps! Well, Anniyan star will be seen in a teenager role in upcoming Tamil film Deiva Thirumagan.

In Gautam Menon's Vaaranam Aayiram, Surya was seen in a few scenes as a teenager. Like him, Vikram has done some scenes like a 18-year old boy for upcoming Tamil film Deiva Thirumagan. Sources say that the actor has worked really hard to look like a teenager. He had a rigorous diet and work outs to fit into the character of a young boy.

AL Vijay has been telling that Vikram's character, dialogue modulation, costumes will be complete contrast to his earlier films. But he had not revealed about the actor's teenage act. It is said that the makers of the film wanted to keep this, as a surprise element in the film. It is for this reason, the makers of the film have not released posters or publicity stills, claims a source.

However, Deiva Thirumagan features Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul and Santhanam in the key roles. The movie is expected to hit the screens in June 2011.
