Dileep,
who
has
acted
in
many
Tamil
and
Kannada
films
in
the
1970-1980's
passed
away
in
the
wee
hours
of
the
morning
in
Mysore
on
Friday.
The
52-year-old
actor
was
suffering
from
kidney
ailment
since
the
past
few
years
and
died
of
a
heart
attack.
Dileep
is
survived
by
wife
Hema,
daughter
Bhavya
and
son
Maurya.
Dileep,
who
has
acted
in
more
than
70
Tamil
films
and
15
Kannada
films
is
remembered
for
his
wonderful
performance
with
Kamal
Haasan
in
Varumaiyiun
Niram
Sivappu
and
Thoongathae
Thambi
Thongathae.
The
actor
also
shared
screen
space
with
superstar
Rajnikanth
in
Mappillai
and
Valli.
His
other
films
include
Penmani
Aval
Kanmani
and
Samsaram
Adhu
Minsaram
among
others.
The

Dileep
has
acted

Dileep,
who
lost
huge
amount
of
money
after
investing
in
business
ventures,
was
known
to
be
a
very
loving
and
affectionate
person.
The
actor
came
to
Mysore
in
the
year
2004
from
Chennai
and
settled
there.
