Agent Vinod in trouble for lifting Rajinikanth's 'Rakkamma' track

The makers of Bollywood film Agent Vinod are in trouble for using a popular Rajinikanth's track in the film. Well, for the usage of the superstar's 'Rakkamma...' track from superhit film Thalapathi in the recently release Hindi movie is leading Lahari audio company, who has the rights of the label, to take legal action against the movie bosses.

A leading daily reports that the Bangalore-based audio company has discovered that the track has been used in the film for a considerable amount of time in a scene. As they have not taken the permission, Lahari is planning to sue the movie bosses. It also adds that the music company acquired the rights of Thalapathi producer for whopping Rs 75 lakh in 1992.

Velu of Lahari company has also confirmed that they are ready for the legal action against the Agent Vinod makers and they are consulting their legal team. However, this is not the first time the movie is landing in trouble over lifting songs. It may be recalled that the popular track from the film, 'Pungi...' was also accused of plagiarism charges by Iranian band Barobax.
