Aishwarya
Dhanush's
first
directorial
movie
3,
which
became
popular
worldwide
with
the
track,
'Kolaveri
di...'
did
not
live
up
to
the
expectations
of
the
audience.
The
young
director
is
now
reportedly
gearing
up
to
take
up
her
second
assignment.
Following
the
footsteps
of
her
younger
sister,
Soundarya
Ashwin,
who
is
directing
her
father
Rajinikanth
in
Kochadaiyaan,
Aishwarya
Dhanush
too
is
all
set
to
direct
the
superstar.
Well,
she
is
likely
to
remake
Akshay
Kumar's
recent
Hindi
movie
Oh
My
God,
which
won
critical
appreciation
and
did
decent
business.
Aishwarya
Dhanush
has
met
Akshay
Kumar
recently
and
later
she
said
on
Twitter
that
the
director
was
in
Mumbai
on
work.
She
wrote,
"Good
morning
tweeps...off
to
bombay
on
work
for
the
day..gonna
be
a
busy
busy
Sunday:-)
hope
urs
atleast
turns
out
to
be
crazy
lazy!"
Earlier,
it
was
reported
that
the
rights
of
the
Tamil
version
was
acquired
by
Krishna
Prasad
and
it
would
be
co-produced
by
Akki
himself.
Rajini
would
be
playing
the
role
of
Lord
Krishna,
which
is
reprised
by
Akshay
Kumar
in
the
original
version.
Oh
My
God
also
stars
Paresh
Rawal
and
Mithun
Chakraborty
in
the
lead
roles.
It
is
inspired
by
a
Gujarati
stage
play
'Kanji
Virrudh
Kanji'.
