Ajith’s Billa release pushed?

The mystery of the Billa 2 release has continued, as the film has been reportedly delayed again. The latest buzz is that the Ajith Kumar starrer movie has been postponed to July.

Rumor mills are rife that Billa 2 will now release in the second week of July. It is said that the movie, which was likely to release either on June 28 or 29th, is now pushed because of the release of Hollywood movie Spiderman, as it is distributed by Aascar Ravichandran, who wants to release the Ajith film without any competition in July.

Nonetheless, the makers of the film are tightlipped about the release. Earlier, the makers of Billa 2 wanted to release the film on June 21 and it was postponed after the delay in completion of censor formalities.

Billa 2 is a gangster-thriller film starring sensational Ajith, dazzling Parvathy Omanakuttan and glamorous Bruna Abdullah. It is a sequel to Billa, directed by Vishnuvardhan. The movie tells the story of the baddie David Billa, who was killed in the first installment.
