Kumar's debut Hindi movie Asoka starring Shahrukh Khan
was not too successful for the actor. Though his performance got
rave reviews, he did not act in any Hindi movie after his first
film. Last year, the Thala said that he was happy in the Tamil film
industry and he was not interested to act in other language films.
However, he seems to have changed his stand, as he is reportedly
gearing up to re-enter Bollywood.
Rumours are rife that Ajith Kumar is all set for his second
innings in Bollywood. The buzz says that the actor will be starring
in the remake of his last year blockbuster Mankatha.
Prabhu, who directed the original version, is helming the Hindi
version too. The rights of the Hindi version is with Gnanavel Raja
and the process of choosing cast-crew have already begun.
The buzz says that Ajith Kumar will be stepping into the shoes
Sarja in the remake and not his role of a suspended cop.
However,Mankatha also starred Trisha Krishnan, Arjun
Sarja, Lakshmi Rai, Mahat Raghavendra and others in the cast. The
film is about the betting money, which is involved during Indian
Première League (IPL).
