Ajith Kumar's next film takes off

Ajith Kumar's next movie directed by Vishnuvardhan was launched on Thursday (May 31). The formal pooja was held at Vishwaroopa Sri Shridi Sai Baba Mandir, Chennai.

The event was attended by Arya, director Vishnuvardhan, producer AM Rathnam, cinematographer PS Vinod, editor Naani, costume designer Anu Vardhan, writers SuBa, and others. However, Ajith Kumar, Nayantara, Tapasee and Mahesh Manjrekar did not turn up to the function.

The first schedule of the shooting will start tomorrow (June 2) in Mumbai. While Ajith Kumar will join the shoots with Arya in the first phase, Nayantara will be arriving to the shoots in the second week of June, says a source. It is said to be a 26-day schedule.

The second schedule will start in August, where Mahesh Manjrekar and other actors will participate.
