Ajith Kumar's Race remake rumour surfaces again

Soon after the release of Ajith Kumar's Mankatha directed by Venkat Prabhu, we had reported that the duo might team up again in the future and they were likely to join hands for the Tamil version of Bollywood superhit movie Race. Now, those speculations have surfaced again, as a leading daily has claimed that there are chances of them getting together in the Race remake.

It has been reported that Ajith Kumar had seen the multi-starrer Race in 2008 and was impressed with it. He has been wishing to act in the Tamil version of the Bollywood film. However, the rights of the film are with a leading production house and the Mumbai-based company seems to have approached Venkat Prabhu to helm the project. It is also said that the director, who met Ajith Kumar recently, has reportedly discussed about this project.

It has to be noted that Venkat Prabhu expressed his wish to work with Ajith Kumar recently on his twitter. Well, even if they are coming together, the project can only take off once Ajith Kumar finishes upcoming movie Billa and Vishnuvardhan's untitled film.
