The buzz says that the Thala, who shot his portions in English Vinglish recently, refused to take money for his short role rather he bared all his expenses, including the travel expense, on his own. According to producer Boney Kapoor, Ajith Kumar acted in the movie for free. This attitude of the Tamil actor stunned the makers of the film.
Adding to that Ajith Kumar's down-to-earth attitude and humble nature amazed the entire cast and crew, claim reports. The Thala shot his portions on August 13 in Mumbai.
Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan was roped in to do the guest appearance in both Tamil and Hindi versions and he even shot both the versions. But later the makers of the film changed their mind, thinking that it would be nice if they rope in Ajith considering that a Tamil superstar would have a huge appeal than the Bollywood megastar in the Kollywood version.
Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar is still in Mumbai filming his next movie with Vishnuvardhan.
