Ajith follows Rajinikanth's footsteps, visits Tirupati!

Following the footsteps of superstar Rajinikanth, who visits Tirupathi before the release of his films, Ajith Kumar is now off to the Hill Shrine to pray for the success of his next release Billa 2. This is his second visit in the last three months and third in the last 12 months.

The buzz is that Ajith Kumar and his family members have left to Tirupati. The actor reportedly had a special darshan and prayed to the Lord Balaji earlier today for the success of Billa 2. He is expected to return to Chennai soon. It may be recalled that the actor had visited the temple in April.

Ajith Kumar's forthcoming Billa 2 is releasing with record number of 1,200 screens worldwide on July 13. The movie, which is a sequel to Billa, also features Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah and Vidyut Jamwal in the important roles. The film directed by Chakri Toleti tells the story of David Billa's transformation from an ordinary man to underworld kingpin.
