Popular
singer
Bappi
Lahiri
has
sung
songs
for
many
Hindi
films
produced
by
South
India
filmmakers,
but
he
had
deterred
himself
from
crooning
a
song
in
any
of
South
Indian
languages.
Now,
director
Prabhu
Raja
Cholan
and
composer
Kannan
are
successful
in
roping
in
the
disco
king
to
record
a
song
in
their
Tamil
film
Karuppampatti,
starring
Ajmal
and
Aparna
Bajpai.
Prabhu
Raja
has
confirmed
that
Bappida
has
recorded
a
disco
song
called
Naughty
Raja
Raja…
for
his
film
Karuppampatti.
The
Tamil
director
says
that
Bappi
has
gone
very
choosy
about
his
next
songs
after
the
success
of
his
last
'Ooh
La
La…'
Since,
his
voice
was
badly
needed
for
this
song,
he
requested
him
and
made
him
sing
it.
'Naughty
Raja
Raja…',
which
has
been
written
by
Kabilan,
is
set
in
the
1980s.
It
is
an
Elvis
Presley
kind
of
a
song
and
only
Bappi
can
do
justice
to
it.
The
makers
of
the
movie
sent
him
a
track
of
the
song.
The
singer
agreed
to
sing
for
the
film
after
listening
to
the
tune.
Recently,
Prabhu
and
Kannan
flew
down
to
Mumbai
to
record
the
song
at
a
studio.
