The year 2012 has been a mixed year for the Tamil film industry. Especially, for the A-list actors except Vijay, the year was a nightmare as their top-budget films tanked at the Box Office.
Dhanush's much-hyped 3, Ajith Kumar's Billa 2 and Vikram's Thaandavam failed to impress the audience. But low-budget films with good content changed the usual perception of filmmakers by doing good business.
The surprise winner of the year is Sudeep starrer Naan Ee, Vijay Sethupathi's Pizza and Vijay Anthony's Naan. However, Surya's Maatrraan, though did not do the expected business, managed to do decent collection. Jeeva's Mugamoodi also followed the footsteps of the Surya starrer film.
However, Surya, Vikram and Jeeva won accolades for doing experimental roles in their respective films like Maattrraan, Thaandavam and Mugamoodi. Well, now we are giving our readers an opportunity to choose the best Tamil actors of 2012. Follow the slideshow to see the list and the poll is in the last slide.
