dream
run
at
Tamil
Box
Office.
Even
though
the
movie
failed
to
get
a
good
word-of-mouth
from
audience,
it
has
managed
to
pull
the
audience
to
theatres,
thereby
bringing
smiles
on
the
face
of
the
makers
of
the
film.
On
Monday
(July
16),
Billa
2
enjoyed
a
good
percentage
of
occupancy
in
most
of
the
theatres
in
Tamil
Nadu.
Especially,
the
movie
ran
for
packed
houses
in
single
screens,
but
the
occupancy
in
multiplexes
varied
from
morning
to
evening
shows.
On
an
average,
the
Ajith
Kumar
starrer
movie
got
around
80-90%
occupancy,
says
a
trader.
The
movie
has
somewhere
collected
Rs
5.75
cr
to
Rs
6.30
cr
on
Monday.
Billa
2
earned
around
Rs
19
crore
nett
in
the
first
weekend
in
Tamil
Nadu.
The
movie,
which
was
released
on
July
13,
ran
into
packed
houses
in
most
of
the
theatres
in
Tamil
Nadu.
On
an
average,
the
occupancy
at
cinema
halls
for
the
movie
was
95%
in
single
screens
as
well
as
multiplexes.
The
movie
directed
by
Chakri
Toleti
is
a
prequel
to
Billa.
The
movie
starring
Ajith
Kumar,
Parvathy
Omanakuttan
and
Bruna
Abdullah,
is
a
gangster-thriller
flick.
