Diana Penty's in for Biriyani?

Diana Penty, who made her debut in Bollywood movie Cocktail, seems to be ready to expand her base. The buzz is that the actress has been approached by the makers of Tamil movie Biriyani and she is likely to give a nod to act in the movie.

According to reports, Venkat Prabhu, who has already signed Richa Gangopadhyay to play one of the female leads, wants to cast Diana Penty in second fiddle. In fact, she was the first choice of the director, as he wants to cast a fresh face. The director has discussed the same with the actress and the deal is likely to happen.

Diana Penty is yet to sign on the dotted lines and if things fall into places, she will be soon completing the formalities, say reports. It may be recalled that Parineeti Chopra's name was also doing rounds for the same role recently.

Venkat Prabhu's Biryani, which will take off on July 14, is a suspense-thriller starring Karthi. Currently, the director is giving final touch to the story.
