Salman
Khan
would
not
have
asked
for
more
from
his
fans,
as
his
recently
released
Ek
Tha
Tiger
is
rocking
at
the
Box
Office
worldwide.
What's
interesting
is
that
the
Bollywood
movie
has
managed
to
pull
the
audience
in
Chennai
where
very
rarely
a
Hindi
movie
does
good
business.
Reports
say
that
Ek
Tha
Tiger
has
been
overwhelmingly
welcomed
by
the
audience
in
Chennai.
The
movie,
which
is
expected
to
collect
Rs
100
crore
alone
in
the
domestic
market
soon,
has
crossed
Rs
50
lakh
mark
in
Tamil
Nadu.
If
the
traders
are
to
be
believed,
it
has
raked
in
Rs
53
lakhs
in
the
state
and
Chennai
is
having
lion's
share
in
it.
On
the
opening
day,
Ek
Tha
Tiger
collected
Rs
31.5
lakhs
nett
at
Chennai
Box
Office,
but
the
collections
dipped
in
the
next
two
days.
However,
it
managed
to
pull
the
audience
in
the
weekend
again,
claims
a
report.
But
the
exact
figure
of
the
collections
of
the
extended
first-weekend
is
yet
to
be
revealed.
The
Salman
Khan
starrer
movie
is
distributed
by
Sathyam
Cinema
in
Tamil
Nadu.
It
has
released
the
film
in
20
screens
in
Chennai
and
a
total
of
45
screens
in
Tamil
Nadu.
In
the
recent
times,
Shahrukh
Khan's
Ra.One
and
Akshay
Kumar's
Rowdy
Rathore
(Hindi
version
of
Siruthai),
did
notable
business
at
the
Chennai
Box
Office.
Meanwhile,
the
movie
has
broken
the
first
weekend
collection
of
Sallu's
previous
film
Bodyguard,
which
had
grossed
Rs
85.50
crore
in
five
day
extended
first
weekend.
It
is
expected
to
collect
Rs
200
crore
by
the
end
of
next
week.
